Can you believe 2010 is right around the corner? LoonWatch will be coordinating the 5-year loon population survey for Wisconsin on Saturday, July 17th from 5 AM -- 10 AM. This date and time ensures that most loon chicks have hatched and that few if any loons have time to fly from one lake to another and accidently be recounted.
If you are willing to help us in 2010, please register using our online Volunteer Registration Form. You can choose the lake you would like to monitor using this form and Sam Krerowicz, our 2010 WLPS LoonWatch Assistant, will confirm your lake immediately and send your monitoring form and instructions in the mail in June, 2010.
